I’ve worked in mental health for almost 10 years specializing in adolescents who have experienced trauma and are struggling with unsafe behaviors. I also work with their caregivers to provide them the support they need to help their teen.
Trauma affects all of us at some point and I want to help my clients regain control by taking the power away from their trauma/PTSD symptoms, and empowering my clients on their healing journey.
As far as couples work goes, I enjoy working with couples who are having a hard time with intimacy, sex, conflict, communication, and/or have experienced trauma.
Above all I value time spent with my family, friends, and fur babies.
As the wife to a first responder and mother to a young toddler, I understand the stresses that come from being a full-time, working parent while trying to take care of the child, house, pets, and clients.
Finding balance in everyday life can be hard and I’m slowly learning to practice what I preach by listening to myself and what I need weekly, even if that means doing nothing on Sunday but watching football with my family.
I work with couples who are struggling with sexual intimacy, infidelity, communication issues, conflict issues, and those who feel disconnected from one another. I also work with adults who suffer from depression, anxiety, PTSD, sexual trauma, and relationship issues.
The most important thing I want my clients to know is helping them is my passion. There is no greater satisfaction than seeing a client tackle their problems and find peace in their life again.
